The ISO 37001:2025 standard introduces significant updates to improve organizational integrity and align with modern global practices. The main changes concern:

• additions of sub-clauses on climate change and a focus on the importance of a culture of compliance
• the management of conflicts of interest
• clarification of the concept and role of the anti-bribery function
• alignment with other global standards
• the introduction of a harmonized structure

IAF, the International Accreditation Forum, has published guidelines on the transition to the ISO 37001:2025 standard, setting 28 February 2027 as the deadline for completing the transition. After this date, certificates issued under the previous edition of the standard will no longer be valid.
